My love for woodworking began in high school which had a well equipped industrial arts classroom and offered courses in architectural and mechanical drawing, woodworking and woodturning. After taking every course offered, I tried to repeat them but wasn't allowed. I did apartment woodworking for a number of years, building simple shelves, DVD racks, and step stools. After buying a house with a separate shop building I finally purchased a table saw and began making furniture for the house. These days I make whatever suits my fancy from shop layout tools, boxes, turned projects and more.

I like old logos and recreated each one of these so they can be cut from vinyl. I’m curious if there is any interest in stickers like this. Most of these are roughly 5” across the widest point, I could sell these individually for about...
After running errands this morning I had a couple hours of shop time coming, here is how it went. To say I am easily distracted sometimes is a mild understatement. I decide to build a place to hang spray bottles (cleaners, water, etc.) so I spy...
This workbench is more primitive but carries the same angle brace leg vise mentioned in my previous blog post. Found in Farm Shop Work: Practical Manual Training, by George M. Brace and D. D. Mayne, 1915. http://thewoodknack.blogspot.co...
