Pens and Boxes

After turning these pens I decided I needed to make a box so I could give them away as gifts. This is what I came up with. Took more time than I thought it would to make these boxes, so would have probably been easier to just buy pen boxes because they are cheap, but oh well I learned something this way!

Nice pens, I agree about the boxes, alot of time and effort on that.

The boxes become special because you created them , not everybody can do that.

Very nice pens and boxes. I usually buy my boxes because they are cheap but if I am making a pen with exotic woods I will make the box to match because I can’t find exotic pen boxes.

Bobmedic, can you post a pic or some details on how you make them would be insightful. I could see making them for a few special pens and of course charging a nice upgrade for the matching box. (laughing) Most people don’t want a FREE pen tube if for nothing else than to have something to wrap it up in that is not a irregular shape.

Very beautiful set of pens and boxes! Worthy to be great gifts and I’m sure will be greatly appreciated.
