Hmm… Lessons learned… assembly lines make life easier.
- When considering a shoulder plane, buy the big one.
- Find a good wood source. I realize Liberty Hardwoods is more of a commercial supplier, but when I needed 12/4 cherry for the legs they came through with some gorgeous wood at half the price of local sellers.
- if you have young kids, expect the project to take at least 10 times longer than you originally thought
- make sure your significant other has time for their hobbies
- most importantly, for most of us this is just a hobby, family comes first

Beautiful twin beds! Very well made and sturdy, will be enjoyed and cherished for many years.
Have your say...
