They say this is a labor of love, right? Twin beds for our twin girls. Cherry with carved finials. Breaks down and sets up quickly, and everything fits properly!!!

Hmm… Lessons learned… assembly lines make life easier.
- When considering a shoulder plane, buy the big one.
- Find a good wood source. I realize Liberty Hardwoods is more of a commercial supplier, but when I needed 12/4 cherry for the legs they came through with some gorgeous wood at half the price of local sellers.
- if you have young kids, expect the project to take at least 10 times longer than you originally thought
- make sure your significant other has time for their hobbies
- most importantly, for most of us this is just a hobby, family comes first
