Happy Valentine’s Day to my sweet darling wife.
Made this wood flower, and vase instead of rushing out to the store for all that quick flower and candy junk.

Flower materials
pedals – pine
leaves – pine
stem – aspen
flower center back – red oak
flower center front – bubinga
hummbingbird – flamed box elder
vase – black walnut

As you see I don’t know the correct names of all the flower parts, but the flower, and hummingbird is a scrollsaw pattern from Steve Good, and the vase is my own turning project.

Great job Bill. Hummingbird sets it off

I can’t let my wife see this or I would have to “try” to make on of them. She is crazy about hummingbirds.
