A guy stopped by my shop and had prints for 3 different flower stands. I really didn’t want the job so i thought i’d over price them. I got it ! and still took a beating, the walnut was scrap. But to much time/labor. The one in this photo is 20”x14”x 4” high. One was 8”x8”x14”tall can’t remember the thrid. When picking them up he said he whoud take orders for them. My reply, No more !!!

nice table.. I hope the bonsai is not a walnut tree, or it might stunt its growth to be growing on a table made out of its grandfather…

It is a nice table though. Too bad you didn’t make any money on it.

Great job on the tables. We have all run into the how much too charge issue. The more I charge the more they seem to want it. A fellow Lumberjock taught me to never be afraid to charge for your time as well as the supplies. Well done, I like it and might have to make one of these for a close friend.

Where are you in E. Tennessee? I am outside of Kingsport and have also done some work for the Bonsai people. Fell free to send them my way if you hear back from them.Contact me through here or scooprc@yahoo.com or on Facebook- Hybrid Woodwork
I enjoy doing the work but it is hard to make money on that small intricate stuff. The only consolation is there is usually almost no cost for materials, most can be made from cutoffs. Nice work, btw.

Like the look of it. It really suits well with the Bonsai.
