Hi, this is my first project at Lumberjocks and I want to introduce myself. My name is Fabian, I’m from Germany.

I have a very small shop, it’s only a table with some benchtop tools. So I make little things like small boxes, some scroll saw work, candle holders etc

Today I would like to show you this little bandsaw box made of yew wood.
The wood comes from a discarded yew root, which I found on the roadside.

A very nice design, some absolutely amazing wood, skillful sawing, and a flawless finish! That salvaged stump was ugly when you rescued it but you found its inner beauty. Great job.
