This is a simple project made out of shop scraps. The octagonal holder is 8” in diameter. The sides are cherry, the top inlay is cocobolo and the side splines and button feet are ebony. I added some blue and white tumbled glass around the bottom of the candle to hold it in position and pick up any wax that might run down. If the glass gets loaded with wax I can simply put it in a pan of water, heat it up, and skim the wax off the top of the water.

Simple and nice looking.
