That is a really gool looking box and the quilted maple really stands out. The double dovetails are classic.

Nice job. What Incra positioner are you using? I made a couple of “trinket Boxes” and I have a few questions for you.

WW8, welcome to Lumber Jocks. Looks like you have all the tools and techniques needed to do nice work. I see inlays, joinery, use of exotic woods, wooden hinges and an array of skills and materials.

Just a note, it helps the lookers in Lumberland to get a fix on your project if you include the dimensions in your posts. Keep boxing and keep posting.

Dusty56 – no staining on any of the wood other than the ebonized maple horse inlay.

Sonnyr – I have a twin linear on my router table. Glad to answer any questions I can.

I am new to this site – how does one respond directly to comments where questions are posed?

I LOVE this site – so many talented woodworkers!
