Last weekend I started real work. Some milling, laminating, mortising and tenoning …
Oops, I was so focused and enjoying the process that I forgot to take pictures. Grrr… I know folks here (me included!) like to see the pictures. Like russians say it is better to see one time then hear it hundred times. Once I realized my mistake I took a camera for couple shots.

What I got so far
Do you see the crack on one of the legs? Got little bit tight construction lumber does not forgive it.

See 4 pieces already cut to length? But they still wait for being processed.

I did not cut sides of 2×4, so you see that ugly seam in the middle of leg. No, it is not laziness. I do not mind that technological appearance in preference of little bit more stiffness. I left it as it.

i love workbench builds. i hope to make a new one or myself to replace the table I call a workbench now. please keep blogging. it looks like you are well on your way!

HokieMojo, I do too. Actually I love to watch all builds but workbenches and jigs especially.
Yes, I am on my way, there is no way back ;-)
