Have a potential client that is interested in an outdoor extendable table made of light colored wood. What do you think of using maple outdoors with an epoxy finish to protect it? Does anyone know of aluminum table extensions that can be used outdoors?

Help explain West Systems epoxy numbers - 7 replies
Can someone explain to me the different numbers for the West System epoxy. I am looking on Amazon and there is a 105 resin and a 205 hardener but then there are other numbers and I don’t understand which combo I need. I am looking to use epoxy to help fill voids in hardwood and use on table tops to help stabilize cracks.

Need drum sander recommendations - 11 replies
I need some help with recommendations for a large capacity drum sander. I would like a drum sander that has the ability to table tops. I currently have a Jet 16/32 and I am not a huge fan of the open end for wide pieces. Drum sander doesn’t have to be a double drum model.

Large jointer (16") or a wide belt sander - 30 replies
I currently have a 6” jointer with a segmented head and am thinking about upgrading to a used 16” jointer. Recently I have been looking into a 30+” wide belt sander instead. Should I sell my current jointer and go with a 16” or get a wide belt sander that can flatten wider boards and costs about the same?
