Well, we are now able to get into the barn and can now work on battling the spiders and years of accumulated crap.

A run to Home Depot to get a Shop Vac and some light bulbs and we are in business. It looks like one of the 5 light fixtures has given up it’s ghost, so that’s a project that will be tackled this weekend.

Unless you want a new light, it probably just needs a new ballast. Open ‘er up and see what it is? You might be able to get a new light fixture for the same price of a ballast though.

Interesting building. Looks like it already has a sub panel / power in it… Great starting point!

If you are replacing fixtures, you might want to look into T8 fixtures to make your life easier when T12 bulbs become unavailable…
