Amateur woodworker. My first (two years ago) and present table saw is a $125 Ryobi. Nine years ago I made wall to wall pine bookcases with a circular saw and a cutting jig. (My wife and I lack the ability to get rid of books.) Since then they have been filled with books and no sag due to a 1/4" plywood backing and a 1" trim on the front underside of the shelves.
-- If I ever turn up missing, check the garage.
