Location: West Salem, Wisconsin

I've been tuning & repairing pianos for 43+ years now but I'm still learning! I believe those who have stopped learning & "know it all" are the most frightening people of all! I'm not a musician, they're mostly left-brained(very little common sense) I tell people I'm a right brained person working in a left brained world. I took shop beginning in the 7th grade & know my way around a shop. Pianos are large combinations of woods & metal, I rebuild old pianos in my shop, a lot of wood working goes on there, which is why I'm here. Tool reviews, techniques for woods, we as piano technicians have our faves but it doesn't hurt to read how others approach the problems.
