A few weeks ago I had my blog about the walnut bouroughs, I was collecting from the walnut farmers around here. I had been in physical therapy for a previous injury, until Friday a couple days ago. Friday was my last visit, Saturday, going to dinner with my son…a DRUNK went across a few lanes to hit us head on. Cops said he had no insurance info, in his car…....glad I have uninsured motorist on my insurance. Looks like I’m going back to therapy…......son’s only got a sprained wrist and a few bruises, luckily…....nice way to start the new year. Yoda

I’m so sorry to hear about your accident. My parents and I were in a minor rear-ending at a stoplight many, many years ago. I was only 2 or so, as all I remember is picking myself up from the backseat floor of our VW bug. The fellow who bumped us was a doctor of sorts in his sportscar and after seeing we weren’t really hurt he went off. Unfortunately no ID was exchanged as afterwards my Mom had neck and back problems. She has undergone 5 back surgeries since then and her spine is in the shape of a ? mark. She can not endure traveling from home more than 90 minutes worth.
I hope you heal well. I don’t know if it would be appropriate, but you may want to look into a Teeter inversion table or chair if you are to undergo traction type therapy. Teeter is made in the USA and is sturdier than the cheaper ones made in China. Or even an excersise ball. Be careful and take care.
Good luck with recovery.

Thanks all for your comments….my main concern is my son, glad he’s got just bruises and a sprain…...mmh, thanks for the advice on the inversion table, I’ve been injured in the glass business enough, to already have one. in highrise glass work, a guy can lift 20 to 40,000 lbs of glass a day, so my back is already tired after 25 yrs. Ron, thanks for the offer, but until we at least find out if this guy has insurance or not, I can’t get down to the shop in Delhi, tiil I get my truck situation settled. But thanks for the offer. Barry, I kind of feel sorry for the guy, I just found out he got into a wreck last month too! If that was a drunk driving too, he’s probably going to get years in jail, though he probably deserves it, I know he’ll never REALLY get any help in jail. I’m trying to learn to seperate the person from the actions, I REALLY hate what he did, but I don’t want to go around with hate inside me. Yoda

just saw your posting. So sorry to hear about the “accident” and I’m glad that everyone is OK (give or take).
You are right about the hate … he has his own burdens that are eating him up and until he is ready to face them, well, unfortunately, he shall continue to create havoc in his and others’ lives.
His path.. his lessons… his challenge. What’s ours? – learning how to not carry the hate.
