Rush Seated Bench #5: Finished Stool
Here you have the finished project. Like everything most of us do, we look back at it and know there are skills we’ve learned and new things we’ve accomplished. Over-all I’m very pleased with this stool. It’s purpose is to provide a place in the entry to put on or take off your shoes. We have an antique buffet that is made of mahogany as well and this piece harmonizes quite well with it. I like the combination of the polished wood with the textural quality of the seagrass used to weave the seat.
