I am Scott and I am a woodworker. I have had a passion for woodworking since childhood. I pretty much think about woodworking all the time.

I get inspiration from several sources but I have to put Sam Maloof at the top of the list; no brainer there. Also George Nakashima, Alan Peters, Trent Bosch, Stephen Hatcher, and most recently Malcolm Tibbetts; a wonderful vessel designer and turner.

I look forward to corresponding with my fellow Lumberjock members.

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself almost a year ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless

Scott, thanks for show us the way it sould be done. I would be interested in knowing how you went about step by step accomplishing such a task. I have studied this art wing Chun but have never made a dummy. If you would like to write me at my email I would be interesting in chating with you about this wooding dummy. dhhepler@msn.com
