As a sheet metal worker, I make a decent carpenter...
I mostly fiddle with small household projects, and I much prefer the aroma if freshly sliced lumber to that of steel & oil.

Hey Smokeybackdraft,
Honestly, I haven’t considered selling it, mostly because the boy still sleeps in it.  However, he has mentioned wanting something different, so I suppose it’s not out of the question.  As far as price, I would like to get about $300 out of it.  (Mostly for material for the replacement).  Also, it really wasn’t built to be talked apart; I putttied over all the screw holes, so dismantling and shipping isn’t an option.  But if you have a vehicle big enough to transport a twin sized good ol boys bed and at willing to come get it from the south suburbs of Chicago, I think we could work something out.  Let me know.
