Victor, NY

Right now it’s joint space in our 1.5 car garage, thank God it’s that big and not just a one car! Had to run a subpanel out to their as the garage was on the same circuit as the kitchen. Ended up with a 50 amp service with ample space/capacity to run more circuits. I built a fairly stout workbench based on Fine WW plans and just recently built a miter saw station. Other primary tools include a delta contractor’s table saw (full cast iron top though) with homebuilt router table attached, PC 690 router, delta 10” miter saw, Ryobi drill press (can’t wait to upgrade but it was free), and other random hand/power tools. I’d like to build a sliding door pegboard storage unit – see Woodsmith – but the entertainment center is priority and if we do decide to move within the next year or so, it would be pointless right now to make more upgrades to my “shop.”

It’ll be nice to see pictures of you shop when you get a chance to post some. It sounds like a good place to work.

It’s not elaborate or that well organized just yet, but it works for me! I’ll post a few pictures later on. Constructive critique (i.e. good ideas) are always welcome. ;)
