Hi all. I’ve just joined Lumberjocks and hope to show some of what we get up to here in South Africa, where I live. I need to find my feet on the site first and I know a hell of a lot less about computers than I do wood! I shall learn!
Thanks to Max, a1Jim, Bureaucrat and WistysWoodworkingWonders for the welcome.

Welcome to Lumberjocks, figuring out this site is far easier than figuring out woodworking!

So … if we all think the toilets FLUSH in the other direction in the Southern Hemisphere … does the grain of the WOOD run any differently, down there ??

LOL !

Big welcome to the LJ’s ! Looking forward to seeing your stuff….

Hey, Thanks for all the welcomes, this looks like a nice place! Nbeener, you talk about grain of wood running differently. You just wait and you will see brother!!!!

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless

I’m expecting all your projects to be made from highly exotic African hardwoods in massive quantities. You better not be importing Southern Yellow Pine and turning it into slant top desks.

Welcome to LumberJocks,
