well, I have been hesitant to show pictures of my shop, because of the mess, when I clean it it does not stay clean for very long, and after seeing some of the shops on here, I guess the mess just doesn’t matter that much, so here are a few pictures of my shop.
the first is my lathe area.
the second is from the doorway from the cave, looking at my benches, RAS, cyclone, and the current project..
third, is the band saw, planer, drill press, storage .
fourth,table saw
fiifth, cyclone
sixth, sanding machine area
I still have more pictures, so I’ll post them on another blog.
this portion of my shop is 30’x 48’
the cave area is 24’x36’

Smitty, this is a nice shop that you have to work in. I like the high ceilings that you have. I have 92” to the joists in my shop and it is a challenge at times to move sheet goods and long boards around in there without hitting the light fixtures. You have a nice set of tools to play with as well. And I see that you have changed out the fence on your bandsaw. I have found my fence to be somewhat problematic. Right now it is able to clamp down simply because I used a piece of carpet tape to hold in the clamping wedge.

Thanks for the pictures. I enjoyed touring your shop.

Scott, I found that the PM stock fence was not that great, but I already had the Kreg form my old BS, so it was just a matter of transferring it to the PM, I also added the 6” riser for resawing.
the ceiling is 10’, and sometimes that is not high enough.
it has taken many years to accumulate the tools and room to work, but it is a work in progress, hopefully I will never be finished.
I may spend up to 16 hours a day in the shop, so I like to make it comfortable.

Very nice shop – great machines, tools and DC system.
Is OK with the mess in the shop, it is the KPI for ongoing working activities.

That’s a pretty nice shop. They get cluttered fast for sure that means they are being used like they should.
