I'm Mike. I've always loved working with my hands. At a very young age I started by disassembling my toys to figure out how they worked. Of course, I always put them back together properly... well most of the time at least.
My passion, recreation, and fulfillment is found in hands-on activities. I feel more satisfaction at the end of a day from creating or fixing something than I do from almost anything else. As you can see, woodworking is a natural attraction for me.
I began my woodworking journey in high school. I apprenticed with a luthier and began learning the trade of guitar building. In addition to making instruments, I make furniture, and absolutely love using a wood lathe. I love using a metal lathe too for that matter...
I believe that my purpose in life is to create. I greatly enjoy sharing my creations with people. Some folks love it, some folks don't get it; that's just fine, we're all different. I hope you enjoy my work. I look forward to reading your comments and thoughts.
