If you have a project that needs a video gif animation to show how your project works or show how your project moves this program will animate a video that you have saved to your computer. All you need is to make a short video of your project in motion and then save the video to your computer first. Then upload it to the Generator and play with the simple setting.
The gif Generator is easy to use and there is no need to upload anything to YouTube or Flick.
I put together this video below to explain how to use this “Free gif Generator” program. Give it a try and post your gif video right here in this post to test it.
Check it out! It’s so easy to do!
Get the gif Generator here There are limitations to the free version like 20 second videos and No larger than 50 MB.
And not all tool are free unless you purchase the “Pro’ version. But I find the Free version is just right for my needs.

Tony, I’m not much into videos on my camera or phone but something to consider if the occasion arises. Will have to look into it when I get home.

Hey Dave,
No need for a phone camera!
You can shoot a video with any digital camera and save it to your computer and then use the gif generator to add a gif video it to your post.
This all got underway when I was trying to helping a fellow Lumberjocker. Someone ask him to put a video in his post so they could see his project in motion but he didn’t know how so I got the idea to help him and anyone needing to include a video into their post.
The good thing about this is you don’t need YouTube or any other video or photo site to make this work.
Have a safe trip home Dave! :)

Great tutorial, Tony !!!!
I’m definitely going to give it a try and post something ASAP.
I’ve been using Easy GIF Animator (not free) but I’ve never explored the possibility of html insertion into a LJ post.
