I took woodworking in High School and soon after I learned how to use the tool's I wanted to just stay in the shop and skip all the other classes. They wouldn't let me! That was back in 1964. I've tried my hand at everything from making cabinets to building gazebos to building our bedroom set.
I do ok and hate it when my wife brags about my work.
I have a Ridgid table saw, 13" Ridgid thickness planer , Hitachi 8 1/4" chop saw, Delta 9" band saw, Grizzly 14" band saw, Delta 6" jointer planer, Delta drill press , Triton 2 1/4 HP router, 2 Craftsman 1/4 " routers, 1 Porter Cable 2 1/4 HP router, 1 Ridgid 1 HP router. I built a Horizontal Mortise slot machine using woodgears.ca plans. I have many other hand tool. My garage is my work shop and it's way to small but I mangage to get things done.
I built two Gazebos back in 1988 when we lived in Franklin Massachusetts. The gazebo's turned out really nice! I just wish I could of taken ours with us when we move. We now live in St Augustine Florida. The weater is so nice and I get more nice days to work in the shop now.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless

I just added a “buddy Icon” pic of a gazebo I built back in 88. It’s at an old house we moved from years ago. Leaving the Gazebo and my nice large shop behind was a hard thing to do. Even after all these years that have passed I still miss the old place. It’s one of those thing in ones life that you wish you could go back to.
Thank you all for the warm greetings. I’m so glad I found Lumberjocks.
