Hello everybody! this is my first blog and i don’t really know what a blog is so i am just experimenting…..i am going to babble on about myself for a little bit….. LET THE BABBLING BEGIN (MUHAHAHAHA!).... My name is melissa, i am 17 years old and have been a woodworker for almost 10 months now. My specialties are Intarsia, Scroll Saw work, and Finish/Detail work. I especally enjoy drawing my own Intarsia, but have just the other day perfected turning my paper doodles into beautiful wooden carvings. I am learning marquetry, and hope to learn power carving if my instructor would ever let me use the dremel ;) . I love animals, and cooking as well as the afore mentiond variations of the woodworking art. ....... END OF BABBLING!!!! thanks for reading!

Bienvenue, velcomen, welcome, Woodpecker! Way cool that you like the refined art of intarsia, et al. I haven’t gotten up the nerve for that stuff, veneering or marquetry yet. Someday though…

In the meantime, enjoy Lumberjocks.

Well, do you have your own private recipe critic and menu reference help? (LOL) Welcome to LJ’s (Enjoy) Happy, that you have chosen to join the family.
You can ask, show, teach, learn, and Share woodworking experiences.
There’s something here for anyone that likes working with wood. You will probably find a few people here that love to eat as well. I for one!
Plus new friends
God bless
