how to make an intarsia

I wrote this blog on suggestion of a fellow lumberjock. 1. Make sure you have all the materials needed. (wood, paint, stain, scroll saw, ect…)2. Think about what you want to make, then draw it or print a pattern off of the internet or something and transfer it to a piece of wood. 3. cut out all of the individual pieces, and sand the edges to make them smooth. you can also shape them by carving, sanding, ect.. this is also when you paint or stain the peices. paint it if you use plywood if you stain your plywood it will not turn out very good. stain solid wood instead. mix different types of wood for and interesting and beautiful effects. (like use basswood for a girls’ skin ...
