Hello LJ’s , Sunday morning I woke up around 6:00am and thought about what I would try to do in the shop. Laid in bed till about seven gave a big stretch and the heart started beating pretty funny so I sat on the bed for a little while thinking it would pass, it did not I have had SVTs before and had surgery to correct that but this was different so I woke the wife and she brought me to the ER. They determend that I had something they call A-fiib and put me on meds and I was admitted. They have done an echo cardio gram and say everything looks fine even said some people live with this and do nothing. I will being getting out tomorrow and then seeing a specialist sometime soon. It is not fun being in the hospital and lucky they have wireless so I can get on here and look around and pass the time. Just thought I would share.

Hey, I too had SVT and had it fixed. Take care. I’ll add you to my prayer list. Sounds like your doing pretty well. You’ll be back in the shop in no time.

I hope you have a speedy recovery. There’s projects to be made and discussed, and you need to be part of that.

Glad your on the mend. A-Fib is not terribly dangerous, just be sure you take your meds. People walk around with A-Fib all the time and never know. Keep us up to date on how your are doing.

I’ve been on meds for A-fib for about 5 years now and I’m doing fine. Just keep up with the meds. I’m sure one of your meds will be an anti-coagulant like coumadin or warfarin so be very careful in the shop. Best wishes and get well soon.

best wishes.
It’s good to hear how aware you were of a problem and how quickly you responded to it. Usually we just hear the “I ignored it” stories!
Take care.
