Thought I would update my bio. I found I had a love for woodworking at a very young age. I grew up in a rural area, so as a kid I was always walking and playing in the hills. One day I crossed the ridge and found a man working in his barn so I walked in and introduced myself. He was turning on a homemade lathe and I was absolutely amazed with his machine and how he could take a log and turn it into a leg post for a bed ( what I didn't know at the time was he had made the bed I was sleeping in). Now I did get a rather good talking to from my mother and lets say Dad did not use words to get his point across, but my curiosity for what I had found was stronger than my fear, so I kept going back from time to time. Fast forward to high school, I needed to raise my GPA for college and thought I could get an A in the woodworking class, well I did, but I was also hooked on woodworking, so every birthday and Christmas I would always ask for tools, thats when I built my first shop ( a little 12' x 14' building) and it felt like a castle to me. Now I have a 20' X 40' shop and I am always think what I can do next. I do use it to make extra money for now,but hope to one day make it a full time shop.
