Band saw safety - graphic photos

Well I recently had an incident using my bandsaw. The blade jamed in the wood, flipped it into my hand and broke left pinky and ring finger. Both fingers were gashed open by the bladeThat was last week, I went to the scene of the crime and looked like things over. The blade is still embedded in the wood, and wrapped completely around it. Which was better than wrapped around me. My best estimation is I was too lazy to change the blade. The blade is only 1/4” thick and the wood was 6” in diameter. It should have been simple 2 minute job but like I said being rushed and lazy I almost lost my fingers. Long story short, don’t Rush and don’t be lazy.
