I apologize to Woodsmith and fellow LJ’s for my undeserved complaint of an error in plans. It seems that I misinterpeted the placement of the edging, it is supposed to be placed just the opposite of the way I placed it thus causing the measurement error.
Please accept my apology.

It takes a big man to admit when he has made a mistake and a bigger one to do so in such a public manner.
I tip my hat to you sir!

I agree with the others. Very good of you to do this.
But … for the one that you caught that was NOT an error … I’m guessing there are a few that … none of us HAVE caught, yet.
So … in principle … your post was still important: they need to go over those things with a fine toothed comb, and … we need to triple check every plan we use.

It happens.
It takes a lot of integrity to admit own mistake.
Well done!

You sir are truly.. the person your dog thinks you are… and you set a fine example.
