I have been working with wood for about 25 years, but only recently was able to become very serious after my 20 year retirement from the Navy. I have a 1200 sqft designated woodshop that is primarily used to build military shadow retirement boxes and projects for friends and family.
As most wood workers would admit, I would rather build a well thought out and multi-functioning jig than any other project. I spend most of my free time in the shop and love improving the shop as others ideas inspire me.
My inspiration and support comes from my wife of 19 years, my four children and of course my three wonderful grandchildren. Now I can finally make some of those projects that I had no place in the house for! LOL
