This is my first video. I just wanted to show Steve the opening in the bottom of the doors on to the router to help collect dust. I do have ear protection but, my camera man whom is my fiance’s son was wearing them, otherwise I would have had them on. I haven’t got this posting video’s down yet, so I don’t know how to post it so that it shows up to watch on lumberjocks instead of just the link. Please feel free to comment. I always welcome constructive criticism.

So the video is now visible instead of just a link.
Thank you so much Sailor! I now know how to post video’s properly!

Nice first video….consider adding a 2” port behind your fence and you’ll have it made!!!!

I am in the process of finishing my fence for the router table. It will have a 2 or 2-1/2 inch dust port. I need to get 2 Incra T-tracks @ 36” to finish, but as per the lady of the house says, “it’s not a necessity right now”. I don’t think bills are a priority when it comes to my tools but I don’t want to sleep on the couch! LOL…
Thanks for the compliment Bob. I appreciate it!

GOod job with the dust collection. As for putting the video here on Lumberjocks try this:
Under the video on the Youtube page click the “Share” button, then click embed. Now copy that bit of code and paste it into any of your posts and it will show up just like you want it to.

Have fun!

Thanks man! It’s kind of funny. About half of the suggestions I got were people saying I need more airflow into the cabinet and the other half said I need to seal up everything so that thos only hole it at the top…where the bit goes. After all I’ve fussed with it, I’ve decided to simply vacuum out the cabinet when needed!
