White or Red Oak?

Just a quick line to pass along a video I just ran across on You/tube. It is by a fellow named Jerald Adamsson and the title of it is “IS IT WHITE OAK OR RED OAK?” I learned how to ID them properly…..........;-J

Easiest way I can tell is look at the shavings. Red oak dust is pink. White oak dust is white.

Here is the link to the video. Jerald Adamsson is a floor scraper. I didn’t think anybody did that anymore. He has more interesting videos. -Jack

Good information and I dont mean to sound critical but I think this fella in the video needs to take one of those classes on “Getting your point across in 30 seconds or less” LOL His video is over 7 minutes long with about 1 minute of real content.
