I am a retired locomotive engineer as of 5 years ago. I have been a serious amature artist for many years primarily as a painter but always enjoyed wood working and metal sculpture also. Woodworking has become my primary interest as of late and pretty much spend all my available time at it. I mainly do one of a kind type things hoping that I never duplicate anything which pretty much leaves me out of the shaker or classical realm. Formal plans and I don't get along so making up things as I go fits me well. My shop is shown under shops. (I admit that I enjoy vacuming up sawdust and chips.)......;-J

Thanks Jim, I’ve been viewing Jocks for over a year almost daily and finally figured “why not jump in”since wood working is about all I seem to want to do these days!
