This is a finished hand carved walnut frame that I did.

Tihis is a walnut frame that I carved for one of my scetches. I only began to scetch three years ago…......I did a series of drawings from the older works of photographers of the American Indians back from the late 1800’s. This was my third scetch. I carved the inside of the frame by hand. It is two frames put together. the outer frame I cut the curves out on a band saw.

I don’t know which is more impressive the drawing or the frame? Thank you for sharing.

You are an artist of many kinds. Unusual to see someone who can sketch, carve and do woodworking like you do. You have many talents Robin. Keep up the good work you do.

Hi Robin;

Not only are you talented, but you’re creative too.

This is really unique, and the proportions are great.

Are you selling these, or are they for you?

You have extraordinary talent when it comes to frames, & sketches.

I’d like to suggest that you enter these as projects.

That way, you’ll get more exposure, & it’s much easier to post multiple images of each.

You don’t have to go to another site to embed your images.

You post them directly from your files.

You’ll also be able to show them in your own LJs gallery automatically.

That is beautiful, all of it. One of the nicest frames I’ve ever seen, really! The drawing is great! I also do graphite drawings. Love the medium. The cost involved makes it well within my means, LOL. Really nice work! Jack…....
