Hand carved walnut frame

Blog entry by woodchic posted 235 days ago 334 reads 0 times favorited 15 comments Add to Favorites Watch

This is the beginning of a walnut frame that I am making…......When I get the carving complete and put together I am going to ask my wood working buds which finish will be best to use, I am not up on all that kind of stuff yet….....I will let all of you be my guide. Remember what I have carved out is the beginning and is still very rough.

Walnut is such a gorgeous wood. A natural oil finish or wipe on poly would reinforce its’ beauty.

As my buddy used to say;

“Women, can’t live with them, pass the beer nuts!”

Remember the good ‘ole days when we thought we were good at woodworking.

Hey, you guys want to start a fishing site?

Robin, your talents are amazing.

Some things can be learned, and other things, either you have it, or you don’t.

You have it, for sure.
