Well, life will have me moving cities to a new place with a new job. It’s a great opportunity, and with this opportunity is a new shop. My current shop is a horrifically cluttered 1-car garage that I can’t leave any one tool permanently set up in. The number of times I’ve bent over to pick something up and gotten a clamp in my keester is embarrassing. Part 2: out with the old, in with the new

It’s been a busy couple days here. We have conditionally sold our place, and I’ve been selling off my old tools and picking up the new ones. I just picked up my new sawstop PCS and my laguna 8” jointer I haven’t set things up yet, but already I’m thinking about building cabinets for the shop, the dust collector and its many pieces, and all that jazz… But, on another note, today was a mixed happy/sad event.
