« Part 6: Day 5 Part 7 of Green house 2 series no next part

Day 6 was my ‘mortise and tenon joint’ day.

All the tenons I made with my hand saw.

The first two mortises I made with chisel and hammer only. They weren’t straight and they were a lot of work :-)
After that I pre-drilled some holes around the edge of the mortises and then used the chisel to cut out the hole. This was quicker and lighter. However, the holes were still not straight. I guess it’s easier to create the mortises on a work bench, than the way I did it: right on the installed beams in my structure :-)

It’s starting to look like something

Not complete days :-) The 6th day that I was working on this project. Each working day is about 4 to 5 hours. Note that each working day I have to load up my gear in my car, unload it again, and I don’t have much experience nor efficient tools :-) Buying the materials I also did within these working hours.

Or did you mean: “Only 6 days? And you did so much?” ... in which case: Thank you! ;-)
