Sapele Mahogany Staircase

Here is a staircase I have been working on over the past few months. It is an entirely steel structure and wrapped with sapele mahogany to give it the effect of being an all wood staircase. The staircase structure was made with steel to support the weight of the solid marble treads and risers. Although the project is not yet fully complete (stain), here is how it looks to date. Hopefully I will be able to get some photos once the finish is complete. Any questions, ask away. Thanks for looking!

Update. Finally done!

Box for My Niece's Baptism

Here is a box that I built on saturday to give to my niece on sunday for her baptism. I started at about 9:30pm and put the first coat of finish on at 7am (all nighter) With two little ones always wanting to come in the workshop/garage it was hard to find any extended period of time to actually get it started, and im a procrastinator :). The box is made from figured maple, ebony, and purple heart. It was finished with lacquer. Any comments appreciated. Thanks all!

3d Bear Scrollsaw Project

This was made with maple and stained with different shades. I also raised each piece to give it a more 3d look to it. Not very challenging but I really like the way these turn out. Very fun and quick project. It was given away as a gift for a family members cottage.
