Once you have your profile, draw your profile. It’s important that you cut the curves with your gouges. This way, it will be easier to carve the profile of the linen. Note: Just do the half, your drawing will be symmetrical. Walnut and oak were normally used at gothic age. And then, on the table saw, remove the wood at the strategic point. When the depth and position of the blade is OK, do one pass, then flip your board and do another pass. After, just remove the wood with your gouges, chisel and planes.
