Got started in wood working in 1992 after purchasing our first home. Decided I could build better furniture than anything Broyhill could make, because just being married, our furniture budget was tight. I ended up making more for friends and family, instead of for us. My father was a Construction Manager before his retirement and I followed in familiar footsteps, albeit a different trade, Commercial HVAC. Married with 2 knothead boys in to music not wood. Have been bit by the turning bug lately and recently turned a couple of lacewood and bubinga bowls. Took a haitus from woodworking from 2001-2006 due to the wife wanting to park the car in the new garage or something. Anyway they make this thing called remote start and now I have the garage back and am re-tooled. Look foward to seeing everyones work and gaining more experience.
