Haven’t written in th past month as we have been working on a tiny condo getaway in Milwaukee. Missed the old neighborhood, close to Lake Michigan and an “up north” cabin just isn’t our gig!! Today I covered a couple of holes in a shed in the back yard of our Michigan Home. Missed this little chore the past couple of years, squirrle moved in over the winter. They certainly were not neat.

Back to Milwaukee this week. Have some things that might be of interest in the LJ group. Hope Martin doesn’t want to kill all personal comments, nice to see into LJ personalities, trials and tribulations.

I haven’t yet figured out which is worse – Rocky or Alvin. I’d been battling with Alvin, Simon, and Theodore almost all summer, but they finally met their fate. Started with shock & awe, almost turned to napalm, but finally resorted to chemical warfare. They can do a lot of damage!

Hope you get your retreat in order to enjoy it soon. Good hearing from you.

In my opinion, squirrel’s are best handled by application of a small amount of solid lead poisoning followed by the application of heat during the pan-frying process…

In the meantime…

Bill, if you have any more work that you need to do on the house in Northville, give me a call. I’d be more than happy to come over and give you a hand.
I’m laid off from UofM and I don’t have too much going on most days.

Bill,

Squirrels are best when cut up and pressure-cooked 12 minutes, before dipping in flour and frying. Yummy!

We had a super bumper crop of acorns from our huge live oak trees hence we also had a super bumper crop of squirrels, far too many and they were destroying our yard and garden. We got a humane trap and relocated 25 of the tree rats across the creek a mile away. Now we have a normal squirrel population.
