45 degrees on bandsaw

New to this so not sure if I’m doing this right. How can I make 45degree cuts on my bandsaw?

Either tilt the table to 45 degrees….
OR, use a miter gauge, set to 45 degrees….
OR, use a sled/jig, (similar to a crosscut/miter sled for a table saw)....
