Bench top tool workstation - 5 replies
Found a deal on a new EB4424 ridgid sander on CL saturday. Brought it home and decided to mount it and some other benchtop tools to an old metal cart I had sitting in the shop. I’m tired of moving them around. Don’t know how user friendly it will be yet but with the onboard vacuum and perhaps a few more mods I think...

Cman 113 table saw tune-up question - 7 replies
I’m trying to get my blade parallel to the miter slot using a dial indicator and a jig on my miter gauge. I adjusted the rear trunion bolts( with drive belt off) and got it within .001 front to rear of fully raised blade. After installing the belt I rechecked my measurements and it was off .009. Whats up with that? For your info, I̵...

rikon 10-325 tension spring assembly movement? - 2 replies
While doing a tuneup on my 10-325, I noticed the upper wheel had a 1/8” wobble front to back. Looking further, it is actually the sping assembly the wheel bolts into , moving. Is this normal with the blade removed and the tension released? Doesnt seem right to me but I’m no bandsaw tech. Any info would be welcome. Thanks Dave

roughsawn green oak - 13 replies
A local sawmill sells roughsawn oak @ .80/ bd.ft., Is this something I could air dry and build cabinets with in a year or so? If possible, seems better than paying $2.+ at the hardwood dealer for kiln-dried stuff.

Tool Monger - 9 replies
Been in the market for a plunge base for my pc690 router. While surfing CL came across a guy who was getting out of WW and clearing out his tools and had some pc stuff for sale so I jumped in my truck and headed over. Hey guys, 1st time poster. I’ve been enjoying this forum for a few months now and thought I would share my latest project and get some constructive criticism as well. It’s a farmhouse table for my daughter, she saw one on the web and ask me to make one. [IMG]http://i46.tinypic.com/pkw...
