Man that thing is looking great! I love seeing how projects look with the finish on!

Shellac is the way to go for the interior. You don’t want to leave it unfinished, as moisture will absorb unevenly between the inside and outside, and could warp the case. Also, the shellac is odorless after it cures, so it won’t smell!

By the way, I watched that Notre Dame/Clemson game Saturday night—and man what a deluge! 3” per hour of rain—I’ve never seen a football game played in a monsoon like that!
