That’s pretty “tame” looking for you! But it does look nice.

thanks andy, it is a simple kitchen i thought maple would go good with the sand blasted knoty pine ceiling. the floor is hickory.

Very nice kitchen, I installed a maple kitchen for my sister several years ago and now it has aged to a beautiful golden color. This looks great with the pine and hickory now but I believe it will get even better with age.

That has a clean simple look, the little legs are a nice touch. On the drawers, do the upper rails double as the drawer pulls? Whats going on with the top row of drawers and the two upper left of the sink? They don’t look like the other six drawers. I like how you extended the side of the cabinet over the fridge all the to the floor, good idea. And last, Are those compound miters on the upper cabinet door frames? Kinda hard for me to see the little pictures. A job well done Blaine.

thanks darrell, the doors and drawers on the base cabs all need pulls still and the drawers will get 5 inch pulls. the crown on top is a regular mitre and i made it with a 15 degree raised panel bit. i am building the island now. the 2 drawers are not big enough to do a 5 piece drawer and are for silver ware and such.

Is that hard or soft maple? And would you mind sharing what you did to finish them?

Beautiful…..
