Location: Manila,Philippines

physician by profession and a pathologist by specialization.
love photography and woodworking and something in between.
46 years of age and still acquiring knowledge how to join and finish wood.
got at least four routers, a contractor style bosch 4100 TS, a workbench i made a year ago, slide miter saw and some handtools.

update: 5 April 2013

to this date, i acquired a domino festool, akeda dc16 jig and a rikon bs 10-325..hah! i didnt know woodworking is this crazy! I mean the tool list is endless!

Update: July 29, 2015

I had been sick of a liver tumor which was diagnosed in 2010. In late 2014, the tumor again began to grow bigger making woodworking impossible for me. I had a tumor resection in May 15, 2015 and i am 2.5 months post op. I still cannot do woodworking but soon i will with a vengeance. Oh the Good Lord spared me to enjoy his very own craft.

Btw, early this year, even sick, i cannot let it pass to have a used but in perfect condition Powermatic PM2000. And looking forward to assemble it soon.

thanks very much for your warm welcome.
it is my goal to reach out to friends who are masters of the craft.
i would say that the last three years were much of a pocket draining experience aqcquiring new woodworking tools than what i did ten years before that! lol
i am just a weekend warrior and at the moment organizing my small woodshop..its a mess and this is why i joined lumberjocks to make it easier for me to fix things fast, creatively and safely thru the advice of experts in this wonderful forum.i was just a lurker before but now i am proud member!

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself almost a year ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…
