I never thought that I would be so addicted to Craig’s list. But I am a tool-a-holic, my name is Jim. Now that is done, I can update you on my latest purchase. For those that thought that I stole a Powermatic 64 for $375 should stop reading now. I just picked up an old Unisaw in great shape. I am still doing research on how old, but the script that is on it looks to be identical to the one my Great Uncle had which was from the 50’s. It was still made in Milwaukee Wi. I paid $150 for it. I know, I feel bad and went to Church to ask for forgiveness. (I didn’t beat the guy up, that’s all he wanted. Not my fault, just sayin.) It still has the old style fence, so I have been looking for an aftermarket. I always wanted a Biesemeyer, so I think that is the direction that I am going. Now, I have 2 table saws to sell. Who knows, this might turn into a nice little side business. Anyone want to buy a couple of table saws? Rigid jobsite and a Powermatic?

I’m Randy and I’m a CL-aholic!
I search CL 3 to 4 times a day, looking for that great deal. I got hooked, this winter/spring, looking for the tools/machines to set up my basement shop. I’m nearly done, now it is time to arrange/organize, tune up the machines and start making sawdust.
Luckily, I have found a CURE for this addiction: An empty bank account! Lol.

You should be able to find the age of your saw here.

Sounds like a great find. Photos….no photos, didn’t happen ;)

Just keep going after the powertools and be sure and leave the local hand tools to me. <grin> I’ll be living in Venice by the middle of next month. We’ll have to get together at Pop’s for drink and a meeting of the Venice area chapter of Old Tools Rule.

Sounds good. Now I have to get back to trying to figure out how to fit all my tools into boxes for the move. Enjoy the new saw. They both look great.
