Home made Ball Jig - 6 replies Went to the Woodworking Show in Costa Mesa, California and saw the Carter Perfect Sphere Jig…I wanted to get it but I spent my allotted money on other stuff, also $350.00 seemed pricey so I made my own. It still needs a handle or knob to adjust it. |

Lathe upgrades - 4 replies Jet tools had a 15% off sale last month so I ordered a 20 extension for my lathe. It will give me a little more room for making canes or walking sticks. I also made a drilling jig for my lathe for a project I’m getting ready to do. I guess I could have bought the Oneway Drill Wizard but I’m not sure how much I would be us... |

Rig-A-Mortis (Jig) - 13 replies Back in 1992 I attended a wood show at Anaheim Stadium where I saw this Rid-A-mortis jig being demoed. I remember my Father-in-law and me watching this guy cut tendons like they were nothing. We were so impressed we split the cost and bought it. 17 years later I opened the box to check it out and set it up.Well wouldn’t you know…I can’t remember... |

Ok...who is the CA expert? - 7 replies I normally use thick CA and never had a problem. Now I have been using thin CA to do some stone inlay, and the stuff just burns my eyes. I tried goggles and it helped for a short while. What do the rest of the Jocks do to protect the eyes? Vince |
