Thanks for all the welcomes. I live in Arizona now since leaving Pittsburgh in 1983 and after working for over 30 years as a licensed optician I moved on to become a licensed general contractor. Slight change, huh.
I stumbled upon this forum while I was searching for some equipment reviews. It’s been a long time since I did any woodworking projects as I sorta wandered away into metal, welding, and restoring of some old cars. This Christmas I had to build a sewing thread cabinet for my wife and remembered how much I used to enjoy working with wood. I’ve since allowed any tools I had go away or become obsolete so I’m just beginning to try to locate some decent equipment and put together a place to do some projects again.
My hardest decision is deciding on what tablesaw to get and I keep switching back & forth on buying budget or going with something like a Sawstop.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.
