SO we showed the design and I moaned about a few things, let’s look at construction.
This is early November 2015
They dug the pit right away after demolition. In fact forms were up and ready to go before City approval just to stay on time..that is really common to do as City can be slow.

Levelling things out

The Japanese Maple we saved in the background

Everything gravelled and plastic on the piles to retain soil and protect from rain
